11/27/2023 0 Comments Cubase not recognizing projectsI also just spend almost 8 hours of installing. Both files have to be moved one directory up into the Sequel application folder. So the only way I use Windows Task Manager to Force close it. At the time Close or Exit the project, Cubase can’t do it perfectly because previously did not respond at all. Every work on each project, Cubase Suddenly not responding and hang in the middle record and play the project. Those files can be found in the Sequel application folder (default is C:Program FilesSteinbergSequel) in the subfolder Midi Port Enabler. Hello Guys I have a problem with my Cubase Pro 12. For EZ Drummer 2, I just had to direct VST Plug-in Manager to C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\VST3\\Toontrack and after refreshing, Cubase would recognise the VST instrument. Some plugins were not recognised by Cubase but to fix, I simply had to go into Cubase VST Plug-in Manager and direct to the folder holding the EZDrummer.dll file. The guitar amp sim plugin works like a charm in Cubase.ĭoes anybody have a clue? I just spend a huge amount of money on Toontrack products I kinda hoped would work :-). Normally, one can fix any of these issues by using the two filter files enableemulated and ignoreportfilter. Hi all, With previous Cubase Pro Upgrades. I then installed a guitar amp sim plugin and selected the Cubase vst folder in which the dll-file should be placed. I just thought that nothing could go wrong when selecting installation as Toontrack and Cubase suggests. I mean….a brand new pc (bought yesterday) and Cubase installed where Cubase as standard is getting installed. I guess I sort of hoped (or expected rather) that the Toontrack products found the correct place to install so it would work right away. I ran the installation of both Cubase and the Toontrack products like the installation suggests when accepting the installation. Am I missing something? I looked for dll-files as well but none were found. Superior 2 and the expansions just don’t show up as vst in Cubase. I could not find any info on the expansions. I run Windows 10 (64bit), Cubase 8,5 (64bit) and the Superior 2 is 64bit. Locate the MIDI Port Setup Devices list: 6. The problem is that it is nowhere to be found in Cubase. This video shows a how to open a Cubase project that crashes the Cubase and closes itself. On the left side of the window, click on MIDI Port Setup: 5. Installed, updated, authorized and ready to go. I downloaded the Product Manager and everything seemed to work perfectly. Some of it was as downloads and some of it was not. I then bought Superior 2, The Metal Foundry SDX and a bunch of EDX expansions. The red line appears on the mixer when I hit my MIDI keyboard, so it's recognizing it. But this morning I went to listen to a song I wrote. I just bought a brand new and fast pc with only Cubase 8.5 and the soundcard driver for my Focusrite Saffire 14 Pro installed. So Cubase 5 has been working fine for a while now.
